Two members of the security forces (Asayesh) were injured in a bomb blast near the village of Bardaresh in the city of Seyed Sadegh in the province of Sulaymaniyah (Iraqi Kurdistan Region) on Saturday.
According to evidence, ISIL members hoisted the group’s flag on a hill near the village of Bardaresh.
Security forces were dispatched to the area to remove the ISIL flag, and a bomb planted under it exploded, injuring two security personnel.
The condition of one of the injured has been declared critical.
In the past few years, ISIL forces have been seen several times in Sulaimaniyah province, and clashes between members of the group and security forces have occurred several times.
