A hearing on the charges of at least 13 detainees in the winter of 2020 in Kurdistan was held by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Urmia, chaired by Judge Massoud Rajabi.
According to the Hengao website, each of Azima Naseri, Hossein Gardashi and Amir Abdullahi from Bukan, Bahman Yousefzadeh, Fereydoun Musaypour and Farhad Musapour from Rabat and Soran Hosseinzadeh, Iman Abdi, Sirvan Nouri, Afshin Mama Ahmadi, Shapol Khezri, Siavash were each informed. Eini and Keyvan Andar from Mahabad were tried in this branch of the Revolutionary Court on charges of “membership in the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).”
The 13 citizens were detained by security forces during the widespread detention of Kurdish citizens in the winter of 2020 and were later released on bail pending trial.
At least 118 Kurdish citizens were detained by security forces during the wave.
