A Kurdish citizen was arrested in Piranshahr-Davo and another citizen was arrested in Urmia, thus the number of people arrested by Iran’s security forces since March 21 has reached 111.
The pressure of Iranian security forces on citizens, political and civil activists, cultural and artistic activists of Kurds continues. In continuation of these pressures, two citizens named Salahuddin Soltani and Amir Faqa have been arrested in the villages of Piranshahr.
Also, Iran’s security forces arrested a 60-year-old man named Seyed Zahid Mousavi in Abdi Bey village of Urmia and transferred him to an unknown place.
According to Kurdistan Human Rights Network, 36 Kurdish citizens were arrested between March 21 and April 21, and 72 Kurdish citizens, civil and political activists and artists were arrested between April 21 and May 21.
The reason for the arrest of most of these people is to participate in Nowruz ceremony.
