Morteza Haqbayan, a journalist and political prisoner from Sanandaj, who suffered a ruptured eardrum during detention due to the beating of the security forces, has recently been sent to medical leave from the central prison of Sanandaj with an electronic handcuff for treatment.

48-year-old Morteza Haqbayan was arrested by the security forces on Thursday (May 19, 2022) to serve his 2-year and 6-month sentence and was transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison.
