At dawn on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, the execution of two prisoners sentenced to death, named “Frank Beheshti” from Takab in Urmia prison and “Soheila Abedi” from Bijar city, was executed in Sanandaj prison.

Frank Beheshti was arrested 5 years ago on charges of murder, and Soheila Abedi, who was the victim of child marriage at the age of 15, was arrested 11 years ago on charges of murdering her husband due to so many family and moral differences, and was arrested by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran and they were sentenced to death.

These two prisoners managed to meet their families for the last time yesterday.

Also, according to the news, 13 male prisoners have been transferred to solitary confinement in Sanandaj and Urmia prisons in order to execute their death sentences.
