A spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has once again threatened the Iraqi Kurdistan region that they will attack again if Israeli forces are not expelled.
General Ramazan Sharif, spokesman for the Revolutionary Guards, emphasized: “It is a natural right to destroy any headquarters from which any attack that targets Iran’s security is a red line.”
General Sharif said in a statement: His country’s ambassador to Iraq stated that the Kurdistan Region had been hit several times at the headquarters and that two other headquarters had been warned.
He added: “The Israelis themselves announced that their drone, which came to a base in Kermanshah, was guided from their headquarters in Erbil.”
General Sharif stated that if the Iraqi officials do not move to leave the rest of the headquarters and our security is targeted from that area, we will definitely respond.
Meanwhile, Kurdish regional officials have repeatedly denied the presence of Israeli forces in the Kurdish region.
On the morning of March 13, the Revolutionary Guards fired more than 10 Fateh 110 missiles at Erbil.
The Revolutionary Guards are listed as a terrorist organization by the US State Department.
This force has repeatedly attacked the positions and bases of the American forces as well as the Iranian opposition forces outside the borders of Iran, especially in Iraq.
