According to statistics from Kurdish human rights activists, from March 8, 2020 to March 8, 2021, at least 33 Kurdish women active in the political and civil spheres were abducted by Iranian security forces.
During the same period, 29 women were killed and 108 women committed suicide for various reasons, including forced marriage.
